John O'Hurley is an American actor, comedian, singer, author, game show host, and television personality. He is mainly known for playing Dr. Carlson in Drake & Josh.


Personal Life[]

John O'Hurley was born in October 9, 1954 in Kittery, Maine. He is the son of Jean and John O'Hurley Sr. He attended Natick High School in Natick, Massachusetts and Kingswood-Oxford School in West Hartford, Connecticut. However he moved to Dubois, Pennsylvania in 9th grade and graduated from Providence College in 1976 in a BA in Theater. He was is a self-taught pianist and classically trained vocalist, and has been composing since he was a teenage. In 2004,, he released a two-album project entitled "Peace of Our Minds", a compilations of his original piano compositions.

Career[]

John O'Hurley Career includes Seinfeld, Dancing with the Stars, and Game Show host. In Seinfeld, he portrayed J. Peterman, a fictionalized version of catalog-company entrepreneur John Peterman, from 1995 until the show's ended in 1998. However, he was a contestant of the first season of Dancing with the Stars. He and his dance partner Charlotte Jorgensen made it to the final competition. Nevertheless, has made a guest star and many different tv series. Such as Baywatch in 1992 and 1994(two different roles), The Emperor's New School, Wizards of Waverly Place(as Capital Jim-Bob Sherwood) All My Children, and so much more.
